A geofence shaped like your site, not like a preset

Two signals on every punch
Custom radius per location, with a haversine distance and a recorded status on every punch. Homebase offers a fixed 150ft, 1-block or 5-block choice and nothing between them.
Location and device trust are both recorded each time somebody clocks in or out, and the punch state machine makes out-of-order punches structurally impossible rather than merely discouraged.
A punch from a phone in a parking lot looks the same as a punch from the floor. Every punch here records its location fix and its geofence result, so a timesheet dispute has a record instead of two accounts.
Each site sets its own radius and accuracy floor. A punch that fails the fence does not go through — the attempt is kept, and only a supervisor can accept it, with the override carrying a reason and a name.
A field or home-based worker is fenced to the work address on their record, not to an office they never visit.
The audit log is append-only by design. Corrections and overrides are added alongside the original punch, each with a name on it — so what you produce when asked is the record, not a tidied copy of it.
